About SSC CPO SI Paper 2

SSC CPO SI Paper 2 is a descriptive paper that is conducted as part of the selection process for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in the Central Police Organization (CPO) in India. The paper assesses the writing skills of
the candidates and is designed to evaluate their ability to express their thoughts in a clear and concise manner.

The SSC CPO SI Paper 2 consists of two sections – English language comprehension, and language and grammar. The paper is conducted in offline mode and candidates have to write their answers in the answer booklet
provided to them.

Selection Process

·        The selection process of SSC CPO SI Paper 2 in four stages:

1.       Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET)

2.      Paper 2 (Descriptive Test)

3.      Medical Examination

4.      Document Verification

Eligibility

·       Delhi SI: Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India with Driving License.

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India.

·        Age Limit: Minimum: 20 years | Maximum: 25 years

Physical Standards Required

·        Height: Minimum height required for males is 170 cm and for female candidates, it is 157 cm. There is a relaxation of 5 cm in height for Scheduled Tribes (ST).

·        Chest: Minimum chest required for males is 80 cm (with a minimum of 5 cm expansion) and there is no chest measurement requirement for female candidates.

·        Weight: The weight is in proportion to their height and age.

·       Physical Endurance Test: Candidates will have to undergo a Physical Endurance Test which includes running, long jump, high jump, and other physical activities.
