About Bihar ITI

Bihar ITI refers to Industrial Training Institutes in the state of Bihar, India. These institutes offer vocational training programs in various trades such as Electrician, Welder, Fitter, Mechanic, etc. The courses are designed
to impart practical skills and knowledge to the students that can enable them to find employment or start their own businesses.

Every year, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) holds the Bihar ITI Admission process for enrollment in the state’s numerous ITI programmes. The admission process involves a written test followed by counseling for seat allocation.

Selection Process

1.       Online Application: Candidates have to fill out and submit the online application form on the official website of BCECEB.

2.      Admit Card: The board releases the admit card for the entrance exam.

3.      Written Exam: Candidates have to appear for the written exam conducted by BCECEB.

4.     Merit List: Based on the performance in the written exam, a merit list is prepared.

5.      Counseling: Candidates are called for counseling based on their rank in the merit lis and the availability of seats in the desired trade and institute.

6.     Seat Allotment: Candidates are allotted seats based on their preference and availability of seats.

7.       Document Verification: Candidates have to undergo document verification before finalizing the admission process.

Eligibility

·        Age Limit: At least 14 years of age as on August 1 of the admission year. There is no upper age limit.

·        Educational Qualification: 10th standard Passed or equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution.

·        Minimum Marks: At least 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. or candidates belonging to reserved categories.

·        Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit and should not have any physical disabilities that may
affect their work in the chosen trade.

Salary Detail For Bihar ITI Graduate

·      Electrician: Starting salary Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month. With experience, Rs. 25,000 to Rs.
30,000 per month.

·       Fitter: Starting salary Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month. With experience, Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month.

·       Welder: Starting salary Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month. With experience, Rs. 15,000 to Rs.
20,000 per month.

·       Mechanic: Starting salary Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month. With experience, Rs. 20,000 to Rs.
25,000 per month.
